Dandelions

The weed that keeps on giving, dandelions are used medicinally for hundreds of years, the flowers are high in lecithin and are used for healing the breasts, lymph and brain, taken as tea, used in baking, cooking and made into salves. Dandelion leaves are diaphoretic, diuretic (release water retention), they detoxify and are filled with chlorophyll. Dandelion roots are used to build the blood and detoxify the liver and stomach (and are found in many coffee substitutes).  All parts of the dandelion are anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, antibilious and anti-rheumatic.
